Oliva timoria Duclos, 1840 [Invalid]

New Zealand, the locality of one of the type lots (MNHN IM-2000-1473) and involving the specimen figured by Duclos, is incorrect. Oliva timoria is an Americoliva, which is confined to tropical waters of the Western Atlantic and Eastern Pacific.
