Distribution: Temperate Australasia realm. Northern New Zealand province and Southern New Zealand province. New Zealand, off the North and South Islands (Hart, 1995). Pliocene. Waitotaran (= Waipipian-Mangapanian) [Piacenzian] to Recent (Olson, 1956: 12-13).
