SUMMARY
A genus of comparatively small species recognised from the Western Indo-Pacific realm, the Central Indo-Pacific realm, and the Eastern Indo-Pacific realm, with one species ranging into the Temperate Australasia realm.
The type species is Oliva panniculata Duclos, 1835. The present concept of the genus probably represents a polyphyletic one, Further (molecular) study will possibly reveal that it represents several unrelated clades.
