"La coquille est cylindrico-ovalaire ou cylindrico-conique, avec la clavicule très distincte. L'un des lobes du manteau recouvre seul la coquille.". Emended to Olividae Latreille, 1825.
General description:
A neogastropod family of small to comparatively large predators and scavengers. The family dates back to the Late Cretaceous.
