SUMMARY
Temperate Australasia realm. Northern New Zealand province and Southern New Zealand province. New Zealand, North Island and northern parts of South Island as far south as Banks peninsula (Hart, 1995).
RV 2148. New Zealand, South Island, Kaikoura.
This is one of the New Zealand species influenced by tributyl tin (TBT) inflicted imposex, with the disapperence of a community, at Waitemata Harbour, North Island, dominited by this species, documented by Hayward, Stephenson, Morley, Riley & Grenfell (1997).
