This specimens was considered to be the holotype by Nielsen (2004: fig. 5), who stated: "The specimen it is here regarded as holotype because there is no indication that he [Duclos] had seen other material" and by Griffin & Nielsen (2008). However, it is an erroneous designation of a holotype after 2000, not designated or fixed as lectotype according to articles 74.5 and 74.6 of the ICZN and therefor deserves the status of syntype.
