Communicated by the owner to be identified by Petuch and Recourt, this specimen certainly is not Oliva bewleyi Marrat, 1871, and does not seem to involve a Caribbean Americoliva but is very similar to A. venulata (Lamarck, 1811), common in the Sea of Cortez [RV].
