SUMMARY
Petuch & Meyers (2014) considered Oliva lamberti Jousseaume, 1884, and Oliva erythrostoma var. efasciata Dautzenberg, 1927, to be valid species. This view is not supported here; the two are considered to belong to the same species, with several, ill-defined, subspecies recognised here for convenience (distribution data mainly after Petuch & Meyers, op cit.):
