SUMMARY
Distribution: Miocene of Victoria and South Australia, Australia. Miocene. Victoria. Muddy Creek Formation [Balcombian [Langhian]]. South Australia. Cadell Formation.
Although the species was originally identified as being conspecific with the New Zealand Ancillaria hebera Hutton, 1873 , it seems more closely related to an other New Zealand species, Ancilla subhebera Marwick, 1926, as expressed by Olson (1956).
