"Testa fusiformi-turrita, levissime spiratim sulcata, violaseenti-albida, callo pallide aurantio aufractus superiores et partem suturalem aufr. penultimi et ultimi obtegente, prope basin zona magis violascente, sulco spirali sursum limitata et dein cingulo callose turgido pallide aurantio muuita. Apertura sat anguste elliptica, dimidiam totius testae longitudinem sub aequans, alba, margine externe obtuso, levissime arcuato, supra incrassato, versus basin denticulum parvum exhibente, basali late emarginato, margine columellari leviter sinuato, extrorsum pliculis nonnullis valde obliquis subobsoletis exarato, callum tenuem album in anfractum ultimum et penultimum emittente. A specimen depicted by Sterba (2004: Pl. 59 fig. 14) as Amalda vernedei herlaari involves this subspecies.
