"Shell small for subgenus, slender and elongated, thin and delicate; spire narrow, high and protracted; shoulder nearly obsolete, sides slightly rounded, almost straight; fasciole wide, low, poorly developed; columella with 12 to 18 low thin plications; posteriormost plications obsolete in some specimens; aperture wide, flaring toward anterior end; color pattern (when preserved) composed of two wide bands of reddish-brown flammules and small dots.". Pleistocene. Bermont Formation. Canal dredging along North New River Canal, along U.S. Highway 27, 22 km S of South Bay, Palm Beach County, Florida, USA.
