SUMMARY
A genus of medium-sized species diustributed in the Western Indo-Pacific realm, the Central Indo-Pacific realm and the Eastern Indo-Pacific realm. The type species is Porphyria vidua Röding, 1798 (see below).
RV 7042. Indonesia, Bali, Candidasa.
The genus is recorded from the Pliocene of Indonesia.
