SUMMARY
A subfamily of small predators and scavengers. The members of this subfamily differ from those of the other subfamilies by having a radula with multicuspidate (comb-like) rhachidian tooth. Furthermore, the inner early volutions of the shell are partially dissolved.
The following genus-group taxa are recognised. Most were originally considered to be subgenera of Olivella but are here considered to be full genera.
