SUMMARY

Distribution: Temperate Northern Pacific realm, Warm Temperate Northeast Pacific province (Cortezian ecoregion). Tropical Eastern Pacific realm, Tropical East Pacific province. Panama Bight ecoregion (Panama). From the northern part of the Sea of Cortez to northern Peru.

RV 7303. Mexico, Sinaloa, Mazatlan; in sand, low tide. Scale bar is 1 cm.

Solid yellow specimens have been named Oliva incrassata f. burchorum Zeigler, 1969, solid white specimens Oliva angulata f. nivea Pilsbry, 1910. However, intergrades between those colour forms and regularly coloured specimens occur quite frequently.
