Original description(s):
"Shell short, stout. Siphonal notch deep. Parietal callus wide, spreading outward beyond the axial line of the shell and upward past the aperture to the apex covering the sutes except the last. Columella with a heavy, raises platform of callus (pillar structure) bearing strong, parallel lirations, the upper and lower ones enlarged and tooth-like. Pillar structure outlined externally by a deep, hook-like sulcus. Outer lip strongly lirated within.".
