Taxonomy:
This is what Petuch & Sargent (1986: 66, Pl. 3 figs. 9-10) named and illustrated as Oliva annulata Gmelin, 1791. Furthermore, P&S(1986: 67, Pl. 3 figs. 11-12) described and illustrated the taxon as a color form of Oliva annulata.
This was a valid species for Sterba (2004).
