Ancillaria mamillata
Original description(s):
"Testa elongate ovata, aurantiaco-fulva; anfractu ultimo superne et ad basin saturatius fasciato; spira valde mamillaeformi, sulcato, veluti ex machina tornato, apice mucronata, antice et ad dextram callo rugoso insigniter induta; labro interne denticulato, columella callosa alba. This species is not unlike A. rubiginosa, except that the spire is very remarkably nipple-shaped, and grooved in a manner so regular as to appear to have been subjected to a lathe; at the extremity it is mucronate, and a thick rugose callus is spread over its anterior and right side.". Recent. Straits of Malacca.
