"A. tenuis, elongata, alba, fulvo supra suturam tincta; spira elevata; anfractibus subrotundis tegmine calloso, ad medium anfractu ultimo producto, balteo inferiori duplicate, labio externo unidentato; varice elongate, angustato, sulcato. This thin, pale species presents a medium in respect of the extension of the spire-covering enamel, which reaches nearly halfway down on the body-whorl. The two specimens in Mr. Cuming's collection are the only ones I have seen.". Recent. Red Sea.
