Americoliva bifasciata (Küster, in Weinkauff, 1876)

Distribution: Tropical Atlantic realm. Tropical Northwestern Atlantic province. Greater Antilles ecoregion (Jamaica).

The species used to be a common find at the scallop (Argopecten gibbus) dumps at the northeast coast of Florida. It is only quite recently (early 2010's) that the species is found at the west coast of Florida, Captiva and Sanibel).
