A genus of small species distributed in the Western Indo-Pacific realm, the Central Indo-Pacific realm and the Eastern Indo-Pacific realm. Type species is Voluta oliva Linnaeus, 1758.\This genus-group taxon has previously been used as a container for other genus-group taxa (herein treated as full genera).
