SUMMARY
Amalda higendorfi richeri kilburn & Bouchet, 1988, is a problematic taxon. The holotype appears to be a very large Amalda aureomarginata, described in the same paper. The "pupiform" morph and the "dark form" both seem to be distinct, as yet undescribed species.
Holotype MNHN-IM-2000-1378.
RV 6908. New Caledonia, North Grand Passage; dredged, depth 400 m.
