SUMMARY
A medium-sized species displaying a remarkable variation of color pattern. It is distributed in the Tropical Eastern Pacific realm. Galapagos province. Temperate South America realm. Warm Temperate Southeastern Pacific province.
Central Peru to northern Chile. Galapagos (Finet et al., 2011). From Bahía Sechura, Peru to Lota, Chile (Zuniga Romero, 2002).
Pliocene. Chile (Nielsen, 2013).
