SUMMARY
Distribution: Temperate Australasia realm. East Central Australian Shelf province and Southeast Australian Shelf province. Southern Queensland to southern New South Wales (Jansen, 2000).
A small species often synonymised with Ancillaria marginata Sowerby, 1830. However, it has a more northeastern distribution range, remains smaller and does not have the prominent spiral ornamentation of that species.
