Révision des Gastropoda (Mollusca) du stratotype de L’Aquitanien (Miocéne inf.)" site de Saucats "Lariey", Gironde, France

ABSTRACT - The site of Lariey (Geological Nature Reserve of Saucats-La Brède), the main outcrop of the Aquitanian Stratotype, has yielded 314 species of gastropods, 91 % of which have been named. 13 species are described as new. They are included in the families Litiopidae, Caecidae, Stenothyridae, Naticidae, Epitoiidae, Cornirostridae, Hyalogyrinidae (one species in each family), Cerithiopsidae (3 species) and Pyramidellidae (3 species). Compared to the last exhaustive revision of the molluscs of the Lower Miocene (COSSMANN & PEYROT), about 60% of the species are recorded for the first time in this site. RESUME - Le site de Lariey (Réserve Natureile Géologique de Saucats-La Brède), où se situe Ia coupe principale de l’Aquitanien stratotypique, a livré 314 espèces de gastéropodes, dont 91% ont été nommées. 13 espèces nouvelles sont décrites. Ces espèces nouvelles appartiennent aux familles Litiopidae, Caecidae, Stenothyridae, Naticidae, Epitoniidae, Cornirostridae, Hyalogyrinidae (une espèce chacune), Cerithiopsidae (3 espèces) et Pyramidellidae (3 espèces). Comparé au dernier travail exhaustif sur les faunes du Miocène inférieur (COSSMANN & PEYROT), près de 60% des espèces sont signalées pour la première fois dans ce site.
