SUMMARY
Distribution: Eocene. Eocene of the Anglo-Paris-Belgian Basin (England. France). Lutetian-Bartonian.
Recent studies on residual color patterns of Paris Basin mollusc shells (Caze, Merle, Saint Marin & Pacaud, 2012) have demonstrated that the species originally was covered with a widely spaced pattern of dark zigzag markings on a light background.
